Joshua D. Moon - Recipient of the 2024 NAMS Young Membrane Scientist Award

Dr. Joshua D. Moon is a recipient of the 2024 North American Membrane Society's (NAMS) Young Membrane Scientist Award. Josh, an M-WET alumni and former postdoctoral fellow with Professor Rachel Segalman's research group, is an assistant professor of chemical engineering at the University of Florida.

The NAMS Young Membrane Scientist Awards are presented annually to outstanding individuals who are starting their professional careers in membrane science and technology. This award is open to all Membrane Scientists within 5 years after completion of the PhD degree including post docs, faculty and industrial positions who have not received a NAMS Young Membrane Scientist award previously.

Recipients receive a check for $500, free registration to the NAMS meeting including a one year NAMS membership, three nights in the conference hotel, and present in a special NAMS Award Session.
